BUILDING A BETTER LIBRARY EXPERIENCE!
Starting Wednesday 8 January and continuing over the summer break, the City Campus Library will undergo some major refurbishments to improve facilities for our clients. The work is expected to conclude by Monday, 16 February.
Many low-use items from the Library's collection were moved to the Library Retrieval System in 2014, and this has freed up space in the Library for various seating arrangements and room improvements to be implemented. The refurbishment will include a new and improved Scholars' Centre, a new Games Room, a much larger Special Needs room with new technology and a variety of new study areas including some individual study rooms.
All efforts will be made to minimise disruptions, including noisy work which is scheduled to take place when the Library is closed. Unfortunately, some rooms may not be available during this time.
